Vetrimaaran OPENS is concerned about exceeding the budget in Viduthalai Part 1, but remains uncertain about his current role.

Director Vetrimaaran revealed in an interview with co-directors that he had unknowingly exceeded the initial budget for his movie.

Director Vetrimaaran, Karan Johar, Karthik Subbaraj, Konkana Sen Sharma, and Nelson Dilipkumar were recently interviewed for Film Companion, hosted by Anupama Chopra.

Director Vetrimaaran revealed that the film’s initial budget was Rs 4.5 crores, but by the time it was completed, the makers had spent Rs 65 crores.

The sudden increase in the amount from Rs 4.5 to 65 crores left his contemporaries, Karan Johar and Konkana Sen in awe of their spending.

Karan Johar inquired about budget management, and Vetrimaaran replied that he had no knowledge of the situation, stating he was simply shooting.

The individual expressed uncertainty about the purpose of their shooting and the current state of their actions.
